We are looking for a talented Partner Account Specialist to join our team, based in Tokyo, Japan or Honolulu, Hawai’i. You will work with game developers and manga creators to deliver fun experiences and maximize fan happiness. You will foster great relationships with developers, advising and helping them achieve their goals from early stages of a product’s life cycle all the way through initial launch and beyond.

A successful candidate will love gaming and manga, with a passion for building partner relationships and bringing joy to fans. An insatiable desire to learn and grow is essential for this role, as you will work with many different disciplines and need to develop an understanding and appreciation of each. This includes promotional planning, community events, creating bundles and discounts/sales, cross-collaborations with characters from different game and manga worlds, negotiating deals for new business ideas, and more. For the partners and products you work on, you will be the first point of contact for teams internally and externally, with the ability to understand and find resolutions for all issues that may impact publishing.
Responsible for the day-to-day business activity and relations with partners and being the main point of contact for specific partners and products
Ensure internal teams are aligned to deliver and support key content and initiatives
Lead product release and lifecycle planning with internal departments and partners
Develop key metrics of success and conduct performance analysis for key content and initiatives
Communicate business, platform, and policy updates to internal and external teams.
Facilitate data analysis requests internally and externally
Lead the way in resolving issues that arise during development, working together with business and technical team members to keep everyone on track with shipping and maintaining a seamless customer experience
Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute fun and unique campaigns and events

KOMODO is a creative endeavor that encompasses a wide variety of activities, including online
marketing campaigns, retail promotions, live physical events and tournaments, social media
activities, and influencer collaborations. This is an exciting opportunity to help bring awareness
of some of the world’s most popular products to Japan and beyond.
A successful candidate will love crafting fun and creative plans to help people discover,
understand, and enjoy positive experiences with our products and brand. This role requires
listening to customers, understanding trends, and an iterative approach of launching
campaigns, evaluating their performance, and applying lessons learned to the next one.
