The Opportunity
We are looking for a talented IT Engineer / Systems Administrator to join our growing team, based in either Tokyo or Honolulu. This role will play a key part in supporting all company functions to deliver on our mission of providing products that shape the gaming and manga industries of the future. This role will support the infrastructure and IT service needs of
KOMODO’s organization along with its individual teams. Ensuring availability and performance of business-critical services across all areas of IT.
A successful candidate will love gaming and manga with a passion for using their technical wizardry to solve complex problems. You will lead the team in providing systems engineering, software development, and configuration management. Your internal customer service skills are top-notch, and you flourish in a collaborative environment, with proven track record mentoring and developing team members.
Responsibilities
● Provide technical support for business needs and objectives through modern cloud(GCP, AWS, etc.) focused technology solutions spanning the following areas: collaboration systems, productivity applications, identity & access management tools, endpoint systems management
● Create, maintain and deliver IT security and operational processes, procedures and practices for a growing organization
● Solve escalated technical issues with both internal and external technical teams and business partners
● Maintain essential IT operations, including client operating systems and security tools
● Own focused projects, solutions, and key responsibilities within larger business initiatives
● Engage and partner with vendors and service providers to provide us with great rates
● Participate in the design and delivery of the IT strategic roadmap
● Partner with internal and external partners to communicate project status, activities, and achievements
● Deploy and configure dependable IT cloud infrastructure in a reliable and service redundant manner

We are looking for a talented Partner Account Specialist to join our team, based in Tokyo, Japan or Honolulu, Hawai’i. You will work with game developers and manga creators to deliver fun experiences and maximize fan happiness. You will foster great relationships with developers, advising and helping them achieve their goals from early stages of a product’s life cycle all the way through initial launch and beyond.

A successful candidate will love gaming and manga, with a passion for building partner relationships and bringing joy to fans. An insatiable desire to learn and grow is essential for this role, as you will work with many different disciplines and need to develop an understanding and appreciation of each. This includes promotional planning, community events, creating bundles and discounts/sales, cross-collaborations with characters from different game and manga worlds, negotiating deals for new business ideas, and more. For the partners and products you work on, you will be the first point of contact for teams internally and externally, with the ability to understand and find resolutions for all issues that may impact publishing.
Responsible for the day-to-day business activity and relations with partners and being the main point of contact for specific partners and products
Ensure internal teams are aligned to deliver and support key content and initiatives
Lead product release and lifecycle planning with internal departments and partners
Develop key metrics of success and conduct performance analysis for key content and initiatives
Communicate business, platform, and policy updates to internal and external teams.
Facilitate data analysis requests internally and externally
Lead the way in resolving issues that arise during development, working together with business and technical team members to keep everyone on track with shipping and maintaining a seamless customer experience
Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute fun and unique campaigns and events

・サーバーサイドの開発実装
・障害対応/お問い合わせ対応 （検知～復旧、原因分析、再発防止策実施）

・社内システムの運用、保守
必須スキル・経験
・何かしらのWebサービスでのサーバーサイド開発・運用経験（2年以上）
・PHP, Go, Python, Rubyいずれかを用いた開発経験
・Git / GitHubを利用したチームでの開発経験
歓迎スキル・経験
・MySQL等のRDBMSを利用したテーブル設計、クエリチューニングの経験
・クラウドサービス(AWS, GCP, Azure等)を利用したサービス運用・開発経験
・WebAPIの設計・開発経験
・コンテナ技術（Docker, Kubernetes）の利用経験
・Laravelの使用経験

電子マンガサービスを主力とした「デジタルメディア開発事業」における、開発職ポジションです。
当社が展開している電子マンガサービスに関わる開発・運用業務をご担当いただきます。入社後は社内の開発チームに中核メンバーとして参画していただくことを想定しており、主にスマホ（iOS）向けアプリケーションの開発をお任せいたします。
本ポジションでは、セガおよび出版社のデータや知見を活かし、大手出版社のアプリに携わっていただきます。
